Our Story
In 1978 three brothers were drywall installers who wanted to do more for the industry and get into the supply game. They wanted to provide their community with a local supplier who cared about the customers and could change the market with great pricing.
Lex, Kim, and Lanny (L.K.L.) soon saw success and the company continued to grow and expand. They helped to foster a culture where customers and employees can feel like they are a part of the family and enjoy what they do.
The company has remained a family owned business with strong ties to the communities that our stores are a part of. The owners and management of L.K.L. know most of our customers by name and care about supporting them.
Today, the company has grown from a small drywall supplier to offering a full line of exterior products, tools, doors, and sundries. With 8 stores currently opened and running, it’s exciting to see customers supporting local, family owned businesses.
