LKL Associates, Inc. provides premium building materials, accessories, tools and related services for Contractors, Subcontractors, Builders, Architects, and the General Public. The company services all of Utah as well as areas in Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada.
LKL has experienced solid and steady growth since its founding, and during the past 3 fiscal years, company revenue has grown exponentially with revenues increasing more than 20% each year.
The company’s history began in 1978 when three brothers, Lanny T. Norris, Kim L. Norris and Lex R. Norris, founded LKL as a drywall company with its first location in Orem. Over time a more robust product offering was provided. A second store in Layton was opened in November 1992; a third store in West Jordan was completed in October 1999. The corporate office was moved from Orem to West Jordan in April 2001. A facility in Logan was opened in July 2002 and in June 2005 LKL opened a design center/showroom in Sandy for contractor clients and the general public. A fifth store is scheduled to be opened in August 2006 in St. George, Utah. Under the supervision of the executive staff and the Board of Directors, each LKL location operates seamlessly with its counterparts, providing a continuous supply chain of leadership, products and customer service.
